Brown University.  Founded in 1764, Brown University is a member of the Ivy League and is renowned for the quality of its teaching, research, and unique curriculum. Three schools make up the University-College. Approximately 5,900 students are enrolled in the Undergraduate College, 1,500 in the Graduate School and 340 in the Medical School. These students represent all 50 states and many foreign countries. For 2010, more than 18,000 applicants applied for 1,450 places in the freshman class. All undergraduates were admitted under a need-blind admission policy. Brown’s three schools offer nearly 100 programs of study. The University adheres to a collaborative university-college model in which faculty are as committed to teaching as they are to research, embracing a curriculum that requires students to be architects of their education.

Johnson & Wales University.  Johnson & Wales University is a world-class university, where students have an opportunity to pursue a career education in business, hospitality, culinary arts, or technology. Scores of majors and degree programs are offered at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level. Johnson & Wales’ four campuses are located in Providence, Rhode Island; North Miami, Florida; Denver, Colorado; and Charlotte, North Carolina. Unique features include a 4-day school week, the opportunity to earn 2 degrees (associate and baccalaureate) in four years, and hands-on training at University-owned, -operated or partnership facilities or at worldwide co-op sites. The Providence Campus, established in 1914, is the largest of the six campuses. 9,982 students are currently enrolled in full-time, part-time, and graduate programs.  [Top]

Bryant University. Founded in 1863, Bryant University is located on 420 acres in Smithfield, Rhode Island. There are 3,200 full-time and part-time undergraduate students from 31 states and 32 countries; and over 400 full-time and part-time graduate students in three master's programs. Throughout its history, Bryant has been building the knowledge and character of its students to help them achieve success. A student-centered university, faculty and staff focus on providing rigorous academic programs that integrate business and liberal arts to develop the skills and critical thinking that are essential to every profession. The College of Arts and Sciences' array of academic programs combines a deep understanding of theory with practical skills and marketable experience so students can make a meaningful impact immediately upon graduation.
