Brown University: Historic Campus, Colonial Architecture, Renowned Library

Founded prior to the American Revolution, this Ivy League institution is one of the world's most exclusive universities. The school features 37 varsity athletic teams, and a campus with 18th-20th century buildings - a fine collection of American colonial era architecture. Brown University Library is well known for its early American historical sources, a Shakespeare First Folio and the best-preserved copy of the Bay Psalm Book, the first publication printed in British North America.
