One of the oldest zoos in America, Rogers Williams Park Zoo is home to more than 100 animal species, including many rare creatures. Explore themed geographic areas, including Australasia, Tropical American and Fabric of Africa. You'll encounter numerous popular animals at this Providence Zoo, such as river otters, bald eagles, giraffes, camels, harbor seals, bison, zebras, elephants, wolves, and snow leopards.

FAQs

  • What are the zoo hours?

    The zoo is open from 10AM to 5PM April through September, and 10AM to 4PM October through March. The last admission is 30 minutes prior to closing.
  • Do I need to buy tickets early or at the gate?

    Purchase your tickets at the gate. Ticket windows accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Parking is free. Purchase advance tickets for special animal feedings and encounters.
